When: Tuesday 28th to Wednesday 29th November 2023 Where: Alfândega do Porto, Porto What: The biggest co-working and flex workspace conference that happens in a different European city each year and attracts over 500 attendees from 40+ countries. 2023 sees Co-working Europe come to Portugal’s second-biggest city, Porto. When: Thursday 7th to Wednesday 13th December 2023 Where: Estalagem da Ponta do Sol, Madeira What: About 100 digital nomads from around the world gather for this festival on this stunning Portuguese island. More than just a conference, it’s a week-long festival by an events company. The Nomad Escape embraces a holistic approach to business. So not only can you attend several keynote speeches and professional workshops, but also on the agenda are wellness and exercise sessions, lively parties, and even a jeep tour. When: Monday 22nd April to Wednesday 24th April 2024 Where: Hyatt Regency and SUD Lisboa, Lisbon (and virtually) What: With the rise of remote working comes Running Remote, the conference dedicated to remote-first and hybrid teams at both larger enterprises and small and medium-sized companies. Even this event itself is hybrid, being held both in-person in Lisbon and live streaming online if you can’t travel. So, if you’re a leader who manages a team virtually, this is the event for you. Last time it was held in the sunny Algarve, which we hope it will return to, though details are still to be confirmed since it’s still a good while away. Web Summit

When: Monday 11th to Thursday 14th November 2024 Where: Altice Arena and Fil, Lisbon What: Web Summit is a huge tech industry conference attracting 70,000 people. This Irish company runs the largest tech events around the world and is bringing this edition to the Portuguese capital in mid-November. Looks like you’re spoilt for choice from the huge number of speakers on their roster, including heads of big tech companies such as Alibaba and Canva, content creators, and even politicians and sports stars. The multi-track event will cover topics such as AI, books, e-commerce, crypto, marketing, and much more! Then each evening comes the accompanying Night Summit that takes delegates into the streets of Lisbon to continue their networking whilst enjoying the local nightlife.
